Hacking-Lab Development Plans

Introduction

Hacking-Lab is a remote security lab that includes a technical infrastructure and it's administrative web page (this page). Hacking-Lab is concurrently under development, by either Hacking-Lab members or other freelancers. These guy's have full and free access to all Hacking-Lab wargames, including theory, labs and solutions. Dou you feel like becoming a Hacking-Lab developer? We are still seeking for talents.

Future Plans of Hacking-Lab

Hacking-Lab is planning the following features

• Add NINA to Hacking-Lab (knowledge management system, AJAX)
• Add Social Software features to Hacking-Lab (invite, link, add other Hacking-Lab accounts, friends)
• Add Blogging support into Hacking-Lab (all HL-accounts have it's own blogging area)
• Add e-Learning into Hacking-Lab (questions and aswers, quiz)

NINA (Knowledge Management System)

Nina is already available as a prototype software. One can add and tag articles and attachments without thinking about structural organization of its data. Just upload your information and it can be found by you and others in seconds. We were first thinking of using an existing knowledge management system, but were not that happy because of the richness of the products we have evaluated. With Nina, you can just send an e-mail to a specific address and the article will automcatically become a new article within your own queue for publishing.

Wargame Cases

Beyond of just further development of the Hacking-Lab portal page (this page), we are always bringing new wargame cases into our lab infrastructure. Currently, we have added JSON hijacking, Click-Jacking and Cross Site Request Forgery challenges into our lab. Nevertheless, we are adding other, non-web based hacking challenges into our lab, for example the crypto attack or reverse engineering exercises. We are still seeking for new and exiting wargames.
